Who is responsible

NEXUS Research is a small, independent online-services business. We are responsible for the information described here. Contact us at NEXUSResearchNX@gmail.com.

What we collect

• When you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you send us, such as Amazon listing links, ASINs or other catalog details.
• When you buy: Stripe handles the payment. Stripe shares with us the details we need to record and deliver your order, such as your name, email address, business name, billing country and postal code, the payment method you used (for a card, its brand and last 4 digits), the amount paid and the date. We never see your full card number. Stripe's checkout may also show a box, sometimes already ticked, to save your details (including a phone number) with Link, Stripe's own service, under Link's own terms and privacy policy. If you don't want that, untick it before you pay.
• When you visit this website: we don't collect anything ourselves. The site has no forms, cookies, analytics, ads or trackers.

How we use it

• To do the work you asked for and send you the results.
• To reply to your emails.
• To keep the business and tax records we're required to keep.
• To prevent fraud and misuse.

We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who helps us

• Stripe processes payments. Stripe also uses payment information for its own security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Google provides our email (Gmail). See Google's privacy policy.
• GitHub hosts this website. GitHub says: "When a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes, regardless of whether the visitor has signed into GitHub or not." See GitHub's Pages documentation and GitHub's privacy statement.

These companies are based in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed there. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We may share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Orders: order records and the emails about them, for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Then we delete them.
• Free samples that don't lead to an order: we delete the emails and listing details within 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll delete it, except records the law requires us to keep, which we delete once we no longer have to keep them. Email NEXUSResearchNX@gmail.com and we'll reply by email. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local privacy laws, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority, and we'll respect them.

Do Not Track

This website doesn't track visitors, over time or across other websites, and doesn't allow anyone else to. So a browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payments happen on Stripe's secure checkout page, not on this website, and we never ask for your passwords.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.

Other websites

Links to Stripe's checkout, Amazon, X and other sites take you to services we don't control. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we'll also tell recent customers by email.
