Amazon Bundle Rule Check

From January 11, 2027, Amazon will require most bundles listed as a single ASIN to be packaged by the original manufacturer or brand, with a few exceptions. We review your bundle listings against Amazon's published policy and tell you, in plain English, which ones may need attention, so you can decide what to do before the deadline.

What's changing on January 11, 2027

Amazon has announced an update to its Product bundling policy that takes effect on January 11, 2027. Under the update, most product bundles listed as a single ASIN must be packaged by the original manufacturer or brand.

Amazon lists exceptions, including bundles covered by a letter of authorization from the brands or manufacturers of all the products in the bundle, gift baskets in gifting browse nodes whose detail page clearly states the gifting intent, bundles in camera product types, and bundles created with Amazon's Virtual Bundles tool (which Amazon says may not yet be available for every store, brand or fulfillment channel). Amazon is also removing some earlier bundle restrictions.

Amazon says bundles that are still noncompliant after January 11 will be deactivated and become listing violations on the seller's Account Health dashboard, and that it will notify sellers by email.

Sources: Amazon's announcement New requirements for product bundles starting January 11 on the Amazon Seller Forums (September 2026) and Amazon's Product bundling policy page. What you get

  • A review of every bundle listing you send us, against Amazon's published Product bundling policy and its January 11, 2027 update
  • A plain-English report, sent by email, that flags each listing that may need attention and explains why
  • A free 5-listing sample before you pay anything
  • No calls, no meetings, no software and no account access: everything happens by email

Who it's for

  • Amazon sellers who list bundles in Amazon's US store (amazon.com): two or more complementary products sold together as one listing
  • Sellers whose bundles are put together by the seller rather than packaged by the brand
  • Sellers who want their bundle listings checked before January 11, 2027
  • Small sellers who don't have time to read the policy and check every listing themselves

What we check

  • Whether a bundle looks like it was put together by the seller rather than packaged by the original manufacturer or brand
  • Whether one of Amazon's listed exceptions may apply: a letter of authorization from the brands or manufacturers of all the products in the bundle, a gift basket in a gifting browse node whose detail page clearly states the gifting intent, a camera product type, or a virtual bundle made with Amazon's Virtual Bundles tool
  • Amazon's bundle listing basics: the word "Bundle" in the title; a description that says it's a bundle and names every item; a first bullet point that says it's a bundle of a stated number of items and names them; and a main image that shows every item in the bundle and nothing that isn't included

What we don't do

  • We can't see who physically packaged a product, or check whether a letter of authorization is valid. Where that matters, we flag it for you to confirm.
  • We don't log in to your account, change your listings, contact brands or file anything with Amazon.
  • We don't promise how Amazon will treat any listing. Only Amazon decides that.

How it works

  1. Send up to 5 listings, free

Email the Amazon links or ASINs of up to 5 bundle listings, the Amazon store you sell in and your Amazon seller name. No payment needed.

  2. Get your sample results

We check those listings and email you what we found.

  3. Order the full check

If you want your whole catalog checked, pay $29 USD once through Stripe's secure checkout.

  4. Send your catalog

Email the links or ASINs of the bundle listings in your catalog, and the Amazon store you sell in, from the email address you used at checkout. We'll reply to confirm we've got them, and that's when we start.

  5. Get your report

We review your bundle listings and email you the report.
